                Nantong COSCO Shipping Kawasaki Names the Third 20,000 Container Ships

     On the morning of June 27th, COSCO SHIPPING CAPRICORN, the sixth container ship of COSCO SHIPPING Constellation series, was formally delivered by Nantong COSCO Shipping Kawasaki Engineering Co., Ltd. This round is another 20,000 TEU container ship with complete independent intellectual property rights contracted by COSCO Marine Container Lines Co., Ltd. in Nantong COSCO Shipping Co., Ltd., and once again refreshed Nantong COSCO Shipping' Kawasaki’s own largest container position created and maintained by itself.     The "COSCO Marine Capricorn" round was contracted by COSCO Container Lines to Nantong COSCO Ocean Shipping in 2015, and the previously delivered "COSCO Seaborne Aries" and "COSCO Sea Leo" were sister vessels, and Nantong COSCO Ocean Shipping Kawasaki was COSCO Shipping Container Transport. The third of the four 20,000-TEU series built by the company has shortened the construction period compared with the first two vessels, and once again refreshed Nantong COSCO Shipping's own shortest time record for the construction of the largest container container ship built and maintained by Kawasaki. It is understood that “COSCO Marine Capricorn” will begin sea trial at the end of June after the naming of the ship. In mid-July, the “COSCO Marine Capricorn” round will be officially put into operation on the COSCO Ocean Shipping Container Line—European Mediterranean Line (AEU3 line) and become the market. One of the most important members of the "Constellation Express". COSCO Shipping Consolidation AEU3 line is an “arterial route” that communicates economic and trade between Asia and Europe, and it is also an important route on the “Belt and Road”. The year of 2018 was a year for the full upgrade of AEU3's shipping capacity. COSCO Ocean Shipping Container Lines planned to upgrade the capacity of all 11 ships in batches by November, and the scale of AEU3 ships will be upgraded from the current 13,000 TEU to 20,000 TEU.
