      On August 7, Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. built a 13,500-bin container ship “Zhongyuan Shipping Jasmine” built by COSCO Shipping Container Transportation Co., Ltd. at the Jiangnan Changxing Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.

"Zhongyuan Shipping Jasmine" is the sister ship of the "COSCO Maritime Peony" wheel that was previously named and delivered. It was designed by CSSC 708 and built by Shanghai Jiangnan Changxing Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The ship has a total length of 366 meters, a ship width of 48.2 meters, a maximum draft of 16 meters, a design speed of 23 nautical miles per hour, a maximum load capacity of 147,000 tons, a maximum load capacity of 13,800TEU, 1000 chiller sockets, Hong Kong flag, and classification of Chinese ships. Society. The ship uses high-efficiency main engines, propellers and energy-saving devices. The ship's Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) meets the requirements of the MARPOL Convention 2030 in advance.

The “Zhongyuan Shipping Jasmine” wheel is the latest generation of the Panama Canal Great Container Ship. This round is expected to be put into operation on the COSCO Far East-America route (AWE2).
