          Shanghai Shipyard delivers the last 2,500-bin container ship in the grain stream

      On the morning of November 12, Shanghai Shipyard Ship Co., Ltd. held a named delivery ceremony for the sixth 2,500-box domestic trade container ship “Zhonggu Rizhao” (S1249) built by Shanghai Zhongyeliu Co., Ltd. So far, all the 2,500 TEU container ships built by Shanghai Shipyard for the medium grain flow have been successfully delivered. The six ships of the project were 226 days ahead of schedule.

Xia Guoqing, general manager of Shanghai China Grain Flow Co., Ltd., Cui Lianjun, deputy general manager, Ji Jun, general manager of Shanghai Shipyard Ship Co., Ltd., and Chi Benbin, deputy general manager, attended the naming delivery ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Jin Yu, deputy general manager of Shanghai Shipyard. Xia Guoqing and Ji Jun respectively delivered speeches on behalf of both the host and the host.

From the first ship S1244 ship delivered on January 12, 2018 to the last ship S1249 ship delivered on November 12, 2018, Shanghai Shipyard completed the delivery of the series of six ships within 10 months, all ahead of Delivered during the contract period. After the S1249 ship was launched on August 18, 2018, it took only 43 days to complete the sea trial.

       The integrity of S1249 ship launching water is 97.8%. When the water is launched, the whole ship structure is finished, the oil and water tanks are finished, the cabin pipe system is basically finished, the deck pipe structure is finished, the tank cover is complete, the centralized control room is complete, and the power distribution board is energized. The generator installation inspection, the engine should be started, the cable laying is basically finished, most of the equipment is terminated, and the wooden furniture is completed except the main deck. The power generation motor vehicle and the boiler ignition node of the ship are respectively 5 days after launching. Completed in 7 days, the fastest in the series.

      In May 2016, Shanghai Shipyard and Shanghai China Grain Flow Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the construction of six 2,500-box domestic trade container ships. The ship type is the most advanced energy-saving and environment-friendly container ship. Its process, energy saving and environmental protection performance have reached or exceeded the international first-class level, which fully meets the national requirements for the greening of the shipping industry.
