Maple Leaf Shipbuilding 7500 tons of duplex stainless steel chemical tanker launched
The Xingtong 56 has a wheel length of 119.8 meters and is a double-bottomed and double-shell chemical tanker capable of transporting gasoline, diesel and Class 2 chemicals with a flash point below 60 °C in bulk. The “Xingtong 56” wheel can carry up to 798 kinds of chemicals, and it is the chemical cargo ship with the largest tonnage, the largest variety of goods and the highest specification. In August last year, Quanzhou Quangang Xingtong Shipping Co., Ltd. and Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipping Co., Ltd. signed a commissioned construction contract. It was officially started construction in mid-November last year. It will be launched in April this year and will be carried out for more than one month after launching. System commissioning is expected to be completed by the end of September. The "Xingtong 56" wheel duplex stainless steel chemical tanker is the first cooperation of Quangang Xingtong Shipping and Maple Leaf Shipyard. It is also the first-phase duplex stainless steel chemical tanker built in Wentai area. The ship starts from the start to the launch. It took only about 8 months to create the "Maple Leaf Speed". Taizhou Maple Leaf Ship Co., Ltd. is the president unit of Taizhou Shipbuilding Industry Association and one of the 51 white-listed enterprises in the national shipbuilding industry. It is the only shipbuilding enterprise in Taizhou that has passed the environmental impact assessment and acceptance, and the only one listed by the Zhejiang government is the ship modification and mobilization. The center enterprise is one of the top 20 enterprises in China's private shipbuilding industry. It has successively obtained 57 technical patents. Up to now, more than 90 types of ships have been built, with a total tonnage of more than 2 million deadweight tons. Quanzhou Quangang Xingtong Shipping Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the transportation of refined oil and chemicals between the domestic coastal areas and the ports of the Pearl River system in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The domestic logistics chemical ship transportation capacity ranks in the forefront of the country. It is currently the deputy director unit of the Chemical Ship Transportation Committee of the China Shipowners Association, the executive director unit of the China Petroleum Circulation Association, the vice president unit of the Fujian Shipowners Association, and the three leading shipping companies in Fujian Province.
