China Merchants Industry launches world's largest piling boat
The "Sanhang Pile 20" started construction on December 18, 2018, with a length of 108 meters, a profile width of 38 meters, and a profile depth of 7.2 meters. The ship is currently the world's largest piling boat, with a pile frame height of 133 meters, a maximum lifting capacity of 700 tons, and a maximum pile diameter of 5 meters. The ship adopts a mature hydraulic drive method to provide power for the three major systems of the whole ship-moving winch operation system, pile frame lifting operation system and luffing system. The piling hammer uses the most advanced IHC-S800 hydraulic hammer on the market and the hydraulic system is independent. The whole ship cooling system uses a non-seawater direct contact internal circulation method. Based on many years of practical experience of piling ships, the three shipping bureaus have optimized the ship ’s layout, system and equipment configuration with the design unit, which truly reflects the advanced concept of energy saving and environmental protection. The commissioning of various systems of the “Sanhang Pile 20” has been carried out one after another. With the successful completion of the launch node, it indicates that the ship has taken another step towards the delivery target, and CCCC's offshore construction equipment will add new ones. The heavy equipment greatly enhances the right to speak in the offshore construction field, including offshore wind power, and further demonstrates the strength of the three airlines brand. |
