A few days ago, Wison Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (Wison Offshore) Nantong Construction Base (Wison Nantong Heavy Industries) LNG high-end equipment product upgrade and renovation project groundbreaking ceremony was held in Nantong Development Zone.
Wison Offshore's LNG high-end equipment product upgrade project is a comprehensive upgrade of Wison Nantong Heavy Industry's infrastructure, production capacity, management and control procedures, etc., with a planned investment of 1.43 billion yuan and planning to extend the existing dock to 370 meters*68 The total area of the expansion group is about 20,000 square meters, and the newly built SPB group workshop is about 14,000 square meters, the spraying workshop is 9,000 square meters, the comprehensive workshop is about 40,000 square meters, and the outfitting dock is about 9,000 square meters. The project is expected to be completed in 2022.
It is understood that Wison (Nantong) Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is the first shipyard of Wison Offshore. The Nantong base was built in 2006. It is located in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. It covers an area of approximately 640,000 square meters. It can also transform various types of ships, and can also complete the construction of upper modules and various steel structure projects. Since its operation in 2006, the base has implemented a number of offshore construction, drilling modules and onshore plant module construction projects. For example: In October 2016, Wison Offshore successfully completed the delivery of the modular construction project of the core components of the Venezuelan National Petroleum Company (PDVSA) refinery at the base. At the same time, Wison Offshore also delivered a number of industry benchmark projects at the base, including the world's first buoyancy tower drilling and production platform and the world's first floating liquefied natural gas production (FLNG) barge that was successfully delivered recently.
After the project is completed, the production capacity of Wison Nantong Heavy Industry is expected to reach: 5 large-scale floating natural gas liquefaction units (FLNG), LNG transport ships, floating natural gas power generation units (FSRP) and other products delivered annually, and 60,000 tons of modular products will be delivered annually , Delivering 20 large-scale marine LNG storage tanks annually, which can support project demand with an annual output value of 13.7 billion. This will not only help Wison Offshore to break through the production bottleneck, but will also further enhance the design and construction of two core products-FLNG (liquefied capacity of 500,000 to 5 million tons/year) and FSRP (power generation capacity of 100 to 600 MW/year) Ability to strengthen the competitive advantage of its series of large-scale floating natural gas installations in the international market and better meet the needs of global customers for large-scale floating natural gas installations.
