50! CSSC Guangxi "Green Pearl River" project LNG powered bulk carrier officially signed the contract
Mr. Zhang Daowu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guangdong Shipping Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Yang Li, Deputy Director of Marine Engineering Department of China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Han Guangde, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangzhou Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., Mr. Ju Jin, President of China Shipbuilding Institute, and Mr. Zhang Xinlong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Shipbuilding Guangxi Company attended the signing ceremony. The contract was signed on behalf of the parties by li mianxiong, general secretary of the party branch and director of guangdong pearl river shipping co., LTD., ju jin, president of guangzhou shipping institute, and zeng lingqiang, deputy general manager of China ship-guangxi company, secretary of the party committee and executive director of China ship-guijiang shipbuilding co., LTD. China State Shipbuilding Group has joined hands with Guangdong Shipping Group to carry out in-depth cooperation with Guangdong Shipping Group based on the strength of China State Shipbuilding Group in green power technological innovation and ship construction management, opening a new chapter in the strategic cooperation of "Green Pearl River" between Guangdong Province and China State Shipbuilding Group. On the same day, 25 of the 2000 and 3000 DWT two bulk carriers were contracted. In the design, adhering to the concept of green ships, the LNG single fuel power system was adopted. Combined with the characteristics of the Pearl River system and the current highest emission control standard, the ship type, gas consumption, safety monitoring and other aspects were serialized and standardized research and design. The delivery of the 50 vessels is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2022, with 25 2000DWT bulk carriers and 25 3000DWT bulk carriers being built at the company's Qinzhou and Wuzhou bases respectively. In the future, Guangdong Shipping Group plans to ship 400 LNG single-fuel powered ships. New shipbuilding operation after the pearl river basin of inland river ships and improve the access conditions, accelerate the construction of LNG filling station, gas prices stable, have good driving effect on LNG dynamic modification, and finally form the "building", "change", promote the combination of the good situation, the power of guangdong province "green pearl river" project smooth implementation. At the signing event, Guangdong Pearl River Shipping Co. Ltd. also signed a gas supply agreement with China Sea Oil & Gas Power Group for the 50 vessels. CNOOC, CNOOC and Guangdong Shipping Group will make every effort to build this project into a national demonstration project for LNG single-fuel powered ships. |
