Highlight Chinese wisdom! The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has issued a proposed report on China's unmanned ship sea trials
On August 11, 2021, the Official website of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) officially released a Report on MASS Trials completed by the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, which is the first proposal of China's unmanned ship trial adopted by the IMO. The unmanned ship field is an important breakthrough for China to realize the "curve overtaking" system construction in the shipping field. The proposal was adopted by the IMO, marking a solid step for China to participate in the international unmanned ship legislation. 
The Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, together with China Classification Society and Yunzhou Intelligence, organized the verification test of the Interim Guidelines for Autonomous Sea Trial of Surface Vessels in China. Based on the trial voyage practice of "Somersault Cloud 0" autonomous cargo carrier designed and manufactured by Yunzhou Intelligent and Wuhan University of Technology, the project team completed the trial voyage report of autonomous ship and submitted it to the International Maritime Organization under the guidance of the Maritime Safety Administration of Ministry of Transport, PRC. In August 2021, the INTERNATIONAL Maritime Organization (IMO) completed the review and released the proposed sea trial report from China on its official website, demonstrating China's wisdom once again in the international maritime community.
