Jiangnan Shipbuilding delivered the third VLGC of 86000 square meters to Southwest Shipping
This type of ship is the third generation of VLGC quality ship (Panda 86P) independently developed, designed and built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding. Compared with the previous generation VLGC (Panda 84P), it not only increases the cabin capacity by 2000 cubic meters while keeping the main size unchanged, but also upgrades the green power system. Using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as the main power fuel, and installing a shaft shaft generator, the operation economy, reliability, environmental friendliness and other aspects have been upgraded. In recent years, Jiangnan Shipbuilding has been deeply ploughing into the LNG carrier market, adhering to the "research and development around the market", and constantly increasing r&d investment. Its products have covered the whole spectrum of LIQUEFIED petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied ethylene (LEG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and ultra large eane (VLEC) carriers. In the domestic and foreign market of liquefied gas ship is more and more favored and recognized by the owners. In addition to research and development, Jiangnan Shipbuilding has also continued to "change" in the construction of LIQUEFIED gas vessels, with rhythmic production and continuous shortening of dock cycle, making the construction speed faster and faster. In 2020, Jiangnan shipbuilding delivered 8 VLGC vessels, accounting for 57% of the global delivery volume. The combination of conventional and gas tests is the latest breakthrough that will further speed up LNG ship construction. At present, jiangnan Shipbuilding has a number of multi-type VLGC under intense construction/commissioning process, will join jiangnan Shipbuilding "gas" potential as rainbow luxury package.
