Liebherr receives two STS orders from Russia's largest port operator
In order to load and unload 20, 30, 40, and 45-foot international standard containers between ships and shores, the general manager of NLE AO Dmitry Korchnev and German Ignatov, director of the port equipment department of Liebherr-Russland OOO, signed the purchase of two shores with a capacity of 65 tons Container Crane (STS) contract. According to reports, the planned delivery time of these ship-to-shore cranes is 2021. Thanks to the long double spreader operation, these cranes will ensure the loading and unloading of 300-meter-long and 48.0-meter-wide Bosphormax container ships moored at berths 29 and 30 of NLE AO, and will facilitate loading and unloading simultaneously. 2 20-foot ISO containers each.
