Faster and faster! Hudong Zhonghua 15000TEU Container Ship No. 4 has been successfully discharged from the dock
On July 19, the fourth 15000TEU container ship H3041 built by Hudong Zhonghua for CTC was successfully discharged from dock. Based on the planning control, the project team started lean production. For the first time, the two-island spacer construction method was adopted to shorten the construction cycle and the dock cycle by 20 days, thus achieving the achievement of the shortest dock cycle for the series of ships.
Due to the transformation of Changxing No. 1 Dock, the middle section of the ship could not be built according to the conventional construction. The project team decided to build both the fore and aft islands at the same time, and the hull in the middle section was carried out by means of intercalation and carrying. Due to the huge weight of the bow section, it is impossible to carry out displacement operation, which puts forward higher requirements for the loading accuracy, assembly and welding sequence of the hull and the welding state of the whole section before loading.
Under the precise planning of production management department, precision department, engineering department and other departments, the delivery department made multiple plans to get ready for production. According to the daily measured data, the welding sequence is adjusted to finally meet the requirements of controllable precision of the interpolation subsection. The filling area involves 7 ring sections, 5 pairs of bottom ballast, 5 pairs of side ballast rooms, 10 large close welds of thick plates over 60mm (12 in the whole ship), concentrated assembly and welding, especially the workload of electric welding. Through the efforts of cadres and staff, the integrity of the ship has been further improved, creating favorable conditions for subsequent production.
