Order for FOUR 7000-car dual-fuel vehicle carriers from CIMC Raffles Zodiac
Zodiac Group is one of the largest private boat owners in the world with a fleet of over 180 ships covering the mainstream of the shipping market. Zodiac Maritime is an international shipping management company based in London, UK. In recent years, based on the global energy transition and the development trend of low carbon and zero emissions, it has continued to layout in the field of new energy vehicle carriers. Designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI), the carrier series is 199.90 meters long, 38 meters wide, with a capacity of about 7,000 vehicles and a service speed of 19 knots. It is equipped with two SETS of TYPE C LNG tanks, which can significantly reduce carbon dioxide and other emissions. It is a new generation of environmentally friendly ships. Eyal Ofer said, "It is a great sign of trust for both sides to sign major contracts through cloud signing during this special period of COVID-19." Zodiac Group, a shipping owner and operator with over 70 years of history, is looking forward to building a long-term and stable partnership with CIMC Raffles.
