According to Golden Destiny's latest weekly report, last week the shipowner ordered a total of four new ships, including one bulk carrier, two oil tankers and one cruise ship, with a total capacity of 378,530 dwt, including one new ship's specific cost. It has not been announced that the total investment cost of the remaining three new vessels is about $186 million, and the new ship orders have fallen by 20% compared with the previous week.

Golden Destiny statistics show that in the oil tanker sector, Sentek Marine has ordered 2+2 158,000 DWT Suez-type tankers under the new era shipbuilding, which is expected to be delivered by the end of 2021; Samos Steamship has ordered orders under JMU and Sumitomo respectively. A 158,000 DWT Suez tanker and a 112,000 DWT Aframax tanker are expected to be delivered in 2021.

In the field of bulk carriers, Navibulgar ordered 4+2 31,800 DWT handysize bulk carriers under the Yangzijiang shipbuilding industry, which is expected to be delivered in 2021 and 2022; Huiyang Shipping has ordered the order in Zhoushan Changshi Shipbuilding. A 823,00 DWT Kamsar bulk carrier is expected to be delivered in 2022; Kawasaki Motors has ordered a 50,00 DWT timber carrier at a domestic shipyard in Japan, which is expected to be delivered in 2022.
