Zhao Jiong said that Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding has the core technology and outstanding manufacturing capability in the field of large bulk carriers. Since the launch of the project, the ships delivered have performed well and won the praise of international users, which fully demonstrates the superb construction level of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding and demonstrates the excellent strength of domestic first-class shipyards. We hope that all parties will continue to expand and deepen cooperation and make positive contributions to enhancing the core competitiveness of Chinese shipbuilding and shipping enterprises. "Shandong Defeng" has a total length of 292 meters, a width of 45 meters, a draft of 18.3 meters, and a speed of 14.52 knots. It meets the requirements of the new regulations CSR-H, Tier III and EEDI standards. It is classified into China Classification Society (CCS) and financed by Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. It is reported that "Shandong Defeng" is the ninth vessel of this series bulk carrier project.
