The first cruise ship boarding tower in Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding was put into service
It is understood that the ship boarding tower with a total height of 52 meters, the use of self-supporting movable steel structure, layout of a manned elevator, the elevator can accommodate about 20 people. The boarding tower will be used in conjunction with the construction of China's first large cruise ship. The cruise ship boarding tower project was designed by the 9th Academy of China Ships and constructed by Waigaoqiao Marine Engineering. Boarding Tower No. 1 is located on the port side of the cruise liner in dockyard No. 2, about 4 meters away from the dock. The tower body is a self-supporting movable steel structure with five embarkation channels at the bottom and side of the dock and on the deck. All kinds of power pipelines and production electric boxes are arranged on the tower body for the production of dynamic energy on the upper hull. Now equipped with a manned elevator, elevator car can accommodate about 20 people. At present, the first manned elevator has completed the evidence collection, the tower has passed the acceptance of the relevant departments, in line with the conditions of use. It is reported that according to the construction of the channel inside the cruise dock layout plan, large cruise project plans to decorate two boarding tower in all. With the acceleration of the superstructure of the cruise ship, there are a number of professionals on the ship are synchronously cross-construction, and frequent access on and off the ship. Boarding Tower 1 will play a huge role in personnel passage when put into use.

He asked the carriage department to strengthen the management of the overall use of the tower; Safety and Environmental Protection Department to strengthen the safety management of personnel access; The production security department shall strengthen the equipment maintenance and management to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the boarding tower. He also stressed that managers at all levels should play a further role in the cruise project to ensure the orderly development of large cruise projects. |
