CIMC Enrico received an order from Jinling Shipyard to build 4 Ro/Ro LNG fuel tanks
China Merchants Jinling Shipbuilding (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinling Shipyard") recently signed a contract with CIMC Pacific Marine Engineering (CIMC), a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, for the project of four 2000m³LNG fuel tanks. It is reported that the four LNG fuel tanks will be used in Jinling Shipyard for the Japanese ship-owner -NYK to build four 7000PCTC dual-fuel vehicle roll-on/roll-off project. Each vessel is equipped with 2 2000m³LNG fuel tanks (including enclosed TCS) and is classified as DNV. It is understood that Jinling Shipyard has been among the best in terms of delivery performance and reputation in the industry, and currently ranks first in the world in terms of orders for Ro/Ro ships under construction and in hand. The agreement will lay a solid foundation for long-term cooperation in the construction of clean energy ships. The project is also the second LNG fuel tank project for CIMC in Japan after the 2850m³LNG project in Oshima, Japan. The relevant person in charge of CIMC Marine Industry said that as one of the largest shipping companies in the world, NYK has high requirements for product quality and suppliers. The recognition of the shipper of NYK this time indicates that the product quality and brand of CIMC Marine Industry has been in the leading position in the market. CIMC Marine Engineering will continue to make progress and continuous improvement to provide stable and reliable storage and transportation solutions for the application of clean fuel. |
