Weihai Jinling second 5100 meters lane high-end passenger rolling ship began to fully blanking

W0277 has a total length of 235 meters, a width of 33.3 meters, and a design draft of 7.0 meters. It can carry more than 1100 passengers at the maximum, and the length of the train line is more than 5,100 meters. It can carry about 200 cars and 300 trucks on the same voyage. As a hybrid propulsion ship, the ship is equipped with Wartsila 46F four main engines, PTO/PTI hybrid shaft generator system, battery, desulfurization tower, ballast water treatment system and other energy-saving and environmental protection devices, which meet the latest INTERNATIONAL standards such as EEDI and SRTP. The W0277 is larger than the company's existing Star class vessels and is Finnlines' flagship product in terms of size and technology. In the face of brand new art design and design concept, the shipyard and the ship owner overcame the impact of the epidemic and cooperated to hold a weekly video conference on interior installation to exchange opinions. At present, drawings solidified and sample inspection have been completed in the inner assembly area of the upper construction, and the follow-up projects of the upper construction area are advanced in an orderly manner on schedule. As an energy saving feature, the W0277 vessel has Silverstream Technologies' air lubrication system, which saves about 5% of fuel and emissions on Grimaldi's GG5G class; At the same time, the waste heat recovery system can not only reduce the consumption of ships, reduce fuel costs, but also reduce the environmental pollution caused by ships, and obtain the dual benefits of economic and environmental protection. In addition to being green and environmentally friendly, the ship's biggest feature is the luxurious upper built interior area, which will provide a better travel experience for passengers. The ship is equipped with about 323 passenger cabins, combined with some of the characteristics of luxury cruise ships, with supermarkets, shops, bars, sauna fitness, SPA, yoga room, game room, VIP lounge, children's paradise, restaurants, winter garden and other public entertainment places, set travel, leisure, entertainment in one. Multiple types of seating and common areas allow passengers to enjoy a journey through the picturesque archipelago in a spacious outdoor area. Billed as "a pioneer in the sustainable development of passenger and freight transport in the Baltic", the ship will be delivered at the end of October 2023 and will operate between the three ports of Nantali in Finland, Lonas in the Oran Islands, and Capelshere in Sweden. |
