Zhoushan Changhong International received orders from Brazilian shipowner for 4 3100TEU container ships
It is reported that the 3100TEU is the flagship project of Zhoushan Changhong International. One ship has been delivered, five are under construction and four new orders have been placed. Up to now, Zhoushan Changhong International has received more than 20 container ship orders this year. The main ship type is 3000-5000TEU feeder container ship, and it is expected to gain more orders. It is understood that log-IN, the ship owner, is mainly engaged In cargo transport services along the Brazilian coast. Now its own fleet is 1700TEU ~ 2800TEU, and the order of Zhoushan Changhong International will become the largest container ship In the Log-IN fleet. Log-in operates coastal shipping services including Amazonas Service (SAM), which provides regular routes through the southern and northern regions of Brazil; Atlantic South Service (SAS) operates air routes linking Brazil (North-East, south-east and South) with mercosur countries, as well as shuttle services linking the ports of Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Victoria. Log-in currently has a fleet of 11 vessels with a total capacity of 250,146 DWT, including seven container ships and four tugboats, according to Clarkson. |
