Ship price increases by 25%! North Shipbuilding Heavy industry received another 210,000 tons bulk carrier order from the old customer

By comparison, the first two similar vessels ordered by AVIC in May cost $58.5m each, up $4.5m in just five months; At the beginning of this year, the 210,000 tons of bulk carriers beishipbuilding received from Yumin Shipping were priced at $50.5 million each, $12.5 million less than the latest price, or a 25 percent increase. It is understood that the 210,000 ton bulk carrier ordered by CATIC Taiwan is the main type of ship built by China North Shipbuilding Industry Co., LTD. It has a length of 300 meters, a width of 50 meters, a depth of 25.2 meters, a structural draft of 18.5 meters and a speed of 14 knots, meeting the Requirements of the TIER III discharge standard of the International Maritime Organization and the Ship Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) Stage III. It has the characteristics of light weight, large capacity, low fuel consumption and outstanding economic performance. Bsic is committed to the serialization and mass order undertaking of 210,000 tons bulk carrier, which creates favorable conditions for the production speed and efficiency and improves its competitiveness in the Capesize and Newcastle bulk carrier market.
