CSSC Guangxi signed a contract with Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration for the construction of 60m class high-speed patrol vessels



On the morning of November 4, 2021, Guangxi Shipping Company, affiliated to China Shipbuilding Corporation guangxi, and Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration held a signing ceremony for the construction contract of a 60-meter class high-speed patrol ship in Hangzhou. Wang Lu, deputy director of Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration, Yang Shanghuan, Director of Comprehensive Planning Division, Wang Zhongxiang, Director of financial Accounting Division, Shi Binfeng, director of command Center, Shen Yijun, deputy director of comprehensive Planning Division, zeng Lingqiang, deputy general manager of the company and Party Secretary of Guangxi Shipping Company attended the ceremony. Wu Qinmin, director of construction equipment department of Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration, and Liu Qiang, deputy general manager of Guangxi Shipping Company signed the contract on behalf of both sides.

The ship is designed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation no.7 O 8 Institute. The ship is 69 meters long, 8.7 meters wide and 5 meters deep. The main hull is of single-bottom and single-deck steel welded structure, and the deckhouse is of all-aluminum alloy welded structure. Adopting four-jet pump power propulsion system, the design speed is no less than 31 knots, which is the fastest and most superior maritime patrol ship of 60m class and above in China. Its shape strive to dignified, straight, strong, simple, with a strong sense of The Times, to highlight the distinctive characteristics of China's maritime law enforcement ships. The main tasks of the ship are to improve maritime cruise capacity, reduce ship traffic accidents, protect the Marine environment, and perform cruise supervision and search and rescue emergency tasks in waters 50 nautical miles away from the shore and north-south water transport channels.
