Saipem wins multiple EPCI contracts worth $ 500 million
Among them, the first EPCI contract came from Saudi Aramco as part of Saipem's long-term agreement with Saudi Aramco, which is valid until 2021. The scope of work of the contract includes the design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of 36-inch carbon steel pipelines to the existing network around the Ju’aymah area, as well as the reuse of related offshore platforms. In addition, in West Africa, Saipem and the ENI Angola subsidiary signed an EPCI contract for the first phase of the Cabaça and Agogo preliminary development projects. The scope of work includes EPCI work for risers, production lines, jumpers, and subsea production systems (SPS). Installation, operating water depth between 400 meters and 600 meters, will be Saipem's offshore vessels "FDS" and "Saipem 3000". Also in West Africa, Saipem has been awarded a contract by Noble Energy to install a 70-kilometre natural gas pipeline in Equatorial Guinea to connect the Alen offshore platform to the Punta Europa terminal facility on the coast. The remaining contracts include the decommissioning of existing infrastructure at the North Sea Thistle field, to be executed by the "Saipem 7000"; and two maritime transport and installation contracts in the Middle East and the Gulf of Mexico. |
