Changfan, the world's largest container ship, berths at Zhoushan Port in Ningbo
At 17:15 on August 3rd, the world's largest container ship "Ever Ace", under the guidance of the senior pilot of The Grand Port Pilot, berthed smoothly at the 6th berth of The Meishan Port area of Zhoushan Port, Ningbo. At the same time, seven 52-meter high and empty remote-controlled bridge cranes on the wharf received the operation instruction and automatically "walked" to the operation position. Their 70-meter long arms slowly extended and began to work, which injected wisdom into the hand of "the biggest port" and "the biggest ship".
On July 30, the world's largest 24,000TEU class "Ever Ace" container ship built by Samsung Heavy Industries for Evergreen Marine made its maiden voyage at Qingdao Port in Shandong Province. The "Long Fan" is the first in A series of 12 A-class container ships ordered by Eva Marine at shipyards in South Korea and China. With a capacity of 23,992 teu, the chang Van is the largest container ship in the world, surpassing the Algeciras class ship (23,964 TEU) delivered by HMM (formerly Hyundai Merchant Marine) of Korea last year.
Ningbo Zhoushan port is the world's largest port with the annual cargo throughput, and is the "popular punching place" for the largest ships of all kinds. Up to now, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has discharged more than 200 mining vessels with a total capacity of 400,000 tons, the world's largest oil tanker "Tai 'o" for many times, and last year, the "predecessor" largest container ship "Modern Ahxiras". This time, the vessel "Long Fan" is 400 meters long, 62 meters wide and has a maximum container capacity of 23992 TEUs, which is 28 teus more than the vessel "Modern Algesilas". It is a new record of the port of Zhoushan in Ningbo. It is planned to complete the loading task of 3600 TEus in Meishan port.
In the shipping operation of the "changfan" ship, Ningbo Zhoushan Port actively practiced the "digital intelligence", comprehensively applied and promoted the intelligent port frontier technology such as bridge crane and gantry crane remote control, intelligent tallying, etc. Nine operators can remotely control 28 gantry cranes and automatically complete container lifting by relying on the operating system, semi-automatic loading and unloading of 7 remote controlled bridge cranes and automatic comparison and verification of intelligent tally operation information. The whole operation process is closely connected and operated efficiently, which realizes the re-upgrading of wharf operation technology, improves port quality management and optimizes service quality.
