On November 5, Wonder of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's newest luxury cruise ship, left Chantiers de L 'Atlantique's shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, The world's largest luxury cruise liner built specifically for the Chinese market is heading to the port of Marseille to put the finishing touches on.

Miracle of the Seas completed a "technical delivery" on October 29, allowing it to leave Saint-Nazaire, but formal delivery will not take place until January. The ship is expected to arrive in Marseille on November 9, with some internal work planned at the local dockyard. The ship will be managed by Atlantic Shipyards and will remain in Marseille until delivery in January.

Wonder of the Seas is royal Caribbean's fifth oasis cruise and cost 1.2 billion euros to build. With a gross tonnage of 237,000 tons, a length of 362 meters, a width of 64 meters, and 18 decks, the ship will have 2,867 rooms and accommodate 6,988 guests. Upon delivery, it will be the largest ship in Royal Caribbean's fleet and the largest in the world. Construction of Miracle of the Seas started in April 2019, but the first flight was delayed to March 2022 due to COVID-19 delays.

In China, Ocean Spectrum, Asia's largest luxury cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean, is scheduled to return to Hong Kong on Oct. 5 on a purposeless cruise at sea. Royal Caribbean's 25 ships will be fully operational by next spring. Miracle of the Seas will be the 26th ship to join Royal Caribbean's global fleet.
